thanks! actually recorded in chicago with joshuaeustis that posts here, and played there last year with michael perkins (mr 666). had a great time there, and have been looking to get back!

My DJ set up. Old school technics but the new school Serato



My music set up. I try to keep it simple. The OT controls the Virus and syncs up the MD. I record "takes" into Logic Pro which sends rock solid midi clock to the OT.

inspired by ikeahackers. my wife called this my 'bob the builder' project. I spent quite a bit of time converting my desk to a standing office. not entirely convinced with my monitor placements but they work ok for now.

primary intent = reduce neck strain, hence why everything is up pretty high for minimal neck strain when looking at screens...

obviously a perfect space in the elektron rack for an analogue four soon...planning to fill the last bit of space with a Behringer Xenyx 502 mixer so the audio flow will be something like:

turntable -> mixer -> xenyx502
machinedrum -> xenyx502
monomachine -> xenyx502
condenser mic -> xenyx502
xenyx502 -> octatrack
analoguefour -> octatrack
octatrack -> analoguefour
octatrack -> AK-1 audio interface
AK-1 -> Tannoys
AK-1 -> Edirols

midi sync in a simple thru chain including into AK-1 and thereby into Reason/Maschine
